The search is on to find the hot to trot acts who’ll be gigging round the country as part of the IMRO Showcase Tour 2007.
The subject of much record company scrutiny, the trek kicks off in February and March with 10 regional gigs in Dublin, Cork, Galway, Belfast and Waterford and culminates in a ‘Best Of Tour’ extravaganza during April in the Dublin Village.
Support throughout will be provided by RTÉ Radio One and 2FM’s Dave Fanning, Dan Hegarty, Cormac Battle and Jenny Huston.
The Showcase has an excellent pedigree, with Declan O’Rourke, The Marshals, La Rocca, The Flaws, Oppenheimer, The Immediate and Roesy among those who followed their participation up by inking deals.
If you’d like to follow in their footsteps, demos should be sent to IMRO Showcase Tour 2007, Copyright House, Pembroke Row, Lower Baggot Street, Dublin 2 to arrive no later than Friday February 9. Alternately, send your MySpace links to email@example.com
