Hot Press Signing Tent: Friday report!

It may be just day one, but we've already collected a heck of a lot of autographs from the likes of Republic of Loose, The Coronas, Therapy?, Spinnerette and more!

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 10 Jul 2009

Day one is done in the HP Signing Tent, and we've had a steady stream of autograph-hungry fans in to meet and greet their favourite acts.

Kicking it off just before 6 were Republic of Loose, with an enthusiastic early crowd eager to meet the lads – all of whom were in attendance!

The Coronas were up next, drawing their fans into such a frenzy that a spontaneous sing-along broke out to 'San Diego Song'.

Therapy? evidently expected a more subdued crowd – amazed as they were by the number of hardcore devotees who'd turned out to see them.

But the prize for the most madly obsessed crowd members goes to Brody Dalle (pictured) and Spinerette, who had girls literally crying with joy – one of whom announced she planned to get a tattoo of her autograph!

And, just now, the lovely Duke Special left us after entertaining a variety of cheerful followers, including several men inexplicably dressed as superheroes.

If you're making it down to Punchestown tomorrow, be sure to call into the Hot Press Signing Tent to check out:
