Gruff Rhys for Darklight Festival closing night

The closing night of the Darklight Festival 2010 on Saturday October 30 looks set to be a memorable one. The Gruff Rhys documentary Seperado! will be premiered at the IFI Cinema in Dublin, with the Super Furry Animal in question attending. Following the screening, Rhys will be participating in a Q & A alongside director Dylan Jones.

The documentary is a psychedelic western musical (naturally) in which Rhys takes us on a pan continental road trip in search of his long lost Patagonian uncle, the poncho wearing guitarist Rene Griffiths.

If that wasn't enough, to celebrate the close of the festival, Darklight and B-Music are teaming up to host a fancy dress Halloween party at the newly refurbished Grand Social (formerly Pravda). There will be plenty of DJ sets throughout the night, including one from Gruff Rhys himself.
