Green Day reach the top spot on the first week that their new album Revolutionary Radio hits the shelves.
The punk rock band's 12th studio album was released last Friday and has already topped a number of charts internationally. It is led by Green Day's single 'Bang Bang', which was released back in September. The band are touring round the UK in February but have no plans, as of yet, to come to Ireland.
Bon Iver come in at Number 2 after the second week of 22, A Million's release, while Drake stays high up in the charts as his multi-million selling album Views makes it to Number 3.
Coldplay's A Head Full of Dreams takes the fourth spot, no doubt a result of the news that the band's show at Croker in July sold out earlier this week.
Ed Sheeran stays in the top 10 with X, while One Republic's new entry Oh My My
goes in at fifth.
