Grand Pocket Orchestra - album launch
The quirky electro popsters will celebrate the release of The Ice Cream with a little help from Girls Names and Hipster Youth...
Grand Pocket Orchestra's eponymous debut, The Ice Cream is set for release on August 27. Building on the band's two previous EPs, the album was recorded in a house in West Cork, and features eighteen lo-fi pop songs.
GPO plan to release the album's second single 'Crave The Flesh' in mid-September, a follow-up to 'Basketballs' (video below).
The launch of this much-awaited album takes place in Whelan's on August 28, with special guest appearances by Girls Names and Hipster Youth.
