God Is An Astronaut line up new album + tour

The experimental Wicklow outfit have announced details of a new album.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 05 Feb 2007

Following on from the taster of last autumn's A Moment Of Stillness EP, the Wicklow trio return with a 10- track album, entitled Far From Refuge.

Eager fans can listen to 'Tempus Horizon' - which is likely to be the album's lead single - on their website, www.superadmusic.com/god.

Having built up a live reputation over their four years of cult success, they'll prove their mettle and air new tracks on the following dates: Roisin Dubh, Galway (20 April); Cyprus Avenue (21); Tripod, Dublin (27).

More details about the album and more dates are expected, so stay tuned to hotpress.com.

Tempus Horizon

Putting up quite the fight for Single Of The Fortnight, ‘Radau’ is a tantalising taster from les Astronaut’s new album. With an atmosphere that builds at its own sweet pace and an eight-armed drummer causing havoc behind a simple guitar riff, GIAN again prove themselves to be at the top of their game. If this doesn’t turn the world onto left-field electro-experimental instrumentals, nothing will. I’m guessing nothing will, though.
