Gavin Friday added to Rogue's Gallery show

Gavin Friday and his Virgin Prunes bandmates Guggi and Dave-id Busarus have been added to the bill for this month's Rogue's Gallery gig in Dublin.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 27 Jun 2008

Hal Willner’s Rogue’s Gallery gig gets more intriguing by the day with ex-Virgin Prunes Gavin Friday, Guggi and Dave-id Busarus the latest additions to the July 18 bill in Dublin’s Grand Canal Square.

It’s the first time the trio have performed together live for 25 years, although as the ‘Three Pruned Men’ they contributed a version of ‘Bully In The Alley’ to the Rogue’s Gallery: Pirate Ballads, Sea Songs & Chanteys album.

As previously reported in Hot Press, the eclectic line-up includes Lou Reed, Teddy Thompson, Ed Harcourt and Pere Ubu’s David Thomas.
