This week sees Free Music Friday assembling another quality batch of tunes without any need for An Taoiseach, President Obama or the Mexican ambassador to get involved...
Firstly, we’re delighted to make the acquaintance of Moon Hooch, a jazz/funk/punk fusing group of New York-based genre-benders.
Also on our radar for the first time are The Foreign Exchange, AKA American rapper Phonte Coleman and the Dutch record producer Nicolay.
One of the few rockers who deserves to be called legendary, Ginger Baker, has a jazzy sampler EP available for your Noise Trade delectation.
During a remarkable six decade-spanning career, he’s drummed with everyone from Eric Clapton and Cream to the Graham Bond Organisation and PiL and been the subject of 2012’s must-see Beware Of Mr. Baker documentary.

Also new and free (but you can tip) from the Noise Trade stable is a 10-tracker from The Choir, a Nashville quartet who are not even remotely country but instead are equal parts The Cure, Placebo and Death Cab For Cutie.
Also highly recommend are Kingslynn, a Miami trio who have a bit – well, a lot! – of an M83 thing going on and a generously endowed live 19-tracker from They Might Be Giants.

Free Music Friday has long been fans of Auxiliary Phoenix, now Carlow’s burgeoning electronic scene gives us Scaled whose Weird: Wired: Deleted collection is awaiting your price naming.
And that, people, is where we have to leave it for another jam-packed. Having drawn them in the Trinity Street sweepstakes we’re Deutschland over all alles on Sunday when they take on Argentina. With our potential winnings not quite enough to retire on, you should keep those links coming to @stuartclark66
