Having recently given away their entire back catalogue, De La Soul have put together a Smell The Da.I.S.Y. mixtape in tribute to their old homie J Dilla who passed away in 2006. It consists of classic DLS lyrics over vintage Jay Dee production.

Fight Like Apes have announced details of their Whigfield Sextape EP, which drops on UK independent Alcopop Records on May 12.
Along with lead track ‘Crouching Bees’, it features ‘bwah!”, ‘The Hunk And The Fun Palace’ and ‘Tyson’.
In contrast to the title, it’s a less punky, more considered but still loads of fun offering from the band who were recently unveiled as one of the headline turns at Vantastival in May.
Chrissie Hynde has premiered ‘Dark Sunglasses’, the extremely cool flagship tune from her Stockholm album, which follows in early June.
The collection was recorded in the titular city with Bjorn Yttling of Peter, Bjorn And John fame her main collaborator.
There are also guest turns from Neil Young and – there has to be a story here! – tennis legend John McEnroe.
