Fred for Cork instore gig
Cork band Fred will play a live instore gig in their local HMV.
Indie group, Fred who hail from Cork will be playing a live set in their local HMV on Tuesday June 3. The band will perform songs from their new album, Go God Go and sign copies of the record for fans from 5pm.
This is the last gig for the band on home turf before the head off around the country on a nationwide tour to promote their new album. Their tour will hit Galway, Tralee, Limerick and Dublin, before the band pile onto a plain and head west for gigs in Toronto and New York.
The band are becoming quite the hit across the pond, after performing at the CMJ 'Music Marathon' in New York.
James Ryder, Manager of HMV Cork has said that the store is excited to be hosting the local heroes, "We are delighted to welcome Fred to the store and look forward to what promises to be a lively performance. The band continues to deliver catchy tunes that will no doubt get their local fans in the mood for partying. This is a great opportunity to meet one of Ireland's freshest bands."
