Franz Ferdinand announce Irish dates

For once it’s Dublin feeling sorry for itself as Franz Ferdinand embark on an intimate series of Irish dates, which takes them to the Roisin Dubh, Galway (May 18); Dolan’s, Limerick (19); and The Pavilion, Cork (20). Tickets priced from €30 go on sale on Friday March 30.

Along with their huge arsenal – sorry Spurs fans! – of hits, Alex and the boys will be previewing their new album, which is due in the summer.
Having checked their festival diary and seen a few spare dates, we wouldn’t be at all surprised if they join in with the Electric Picnic fun.
