Northern Irish treasure Foy Vance emerges from the studio to play dates in Belfast and Dublin in the coming months, including a special show at The Academy in May.
Foy Vance is among the cream of Northern Irish talent playing next month's sold-out Do You Remember The First Time? gig at the Ulster Hall, and he's also planning his own tour in the coming months, taking in Glasgow, Cardiff, London and more, including a couple of Belfast gigs and an intimate date at The Academy 2 on May 1.
The Dublin date is fully-seated, with tickets on sale this Thursday (February 12) at 9am, priced €17.
Ahead of that, Foy Vance is taking part in the Belfast Nashville Songwriters Festival this month. He plays the Black Box, Belfast on February 19, and the Kings Head the next night. For tickets, see www.belfastnashville.com
Also in the works is a solo date at the Ulster Hall in early May, and some new EPs in the pipeline, as he says on his website:

"I figured that writing for the two short films, one feature, working on album two in my studio and working on album three with David Holmes, being a husband and a Daddy on school runs, swimming and ballet lessons etc simply wasn't enough to keep me busy...
"Either way I've committed to making at least two EPs for the next tour and I plan to make it happen. I really want to get some of these songs out of my system. The don't quite fit into my album designs but they're still very relevant, to me at least, so I feel like I need to just get them out there. Off my chest and onto yours, ooh er..."
