Dave Grohl has just announced on 2fm's Rick O'Shea Show that they're playing Slane Castle on May 30, 2015.
The Foos are already au fait with Lord Henry's gaff having supported the Chili Peppers there in 2003.
Along with their extensive back catalogue, the band will be showcasing their new Sonic Highways album, which has also spawned a companion HBO series and is reviewed in the new issue of Hot Press, in shops tomorrow.
Taylor Hawkins will probably be hoping he doesn't run into U2 having given Songs Of Innocence a less than flattering review this week.
"What happened to U2, man?" he said in a Pulse Of Radio interview this week. "I don't think people are that hyped on them. It just kinda sounds like a fart any way you listen to it."

The tour kicks off on December 10 in Cape Town and then heads to Chile, Argentina, Brazil, Colombia, New Zealand and Australia before hitting Europe.
It’ll be interesting to see whether that’s it for Slane next year, with rumours of a second date in August.
