Fake plastic singles
Check out the artwork for the new Frames single, 'Fake'
Knowing how bleedin' impatient you Frames fans can be, here's a sneak preview of the cover of their 'Fake' single which is released through Plateau on September 12.
The first taster from the band's new album – due in spring 2004 – it's the band's most commercial offering yet with a chorus that screams "radio airplay".
"You telling me you I should forget you, but why? /And you're acting like I should never know you, but that's a lie", Glen croons as the rest of the band make like The Pixies covering The Beatles at their most whimsical.
The three-tracker also features the abrasive 'Precarious Aiming' and delicate, Nick Drake-like 'Trying'.
