Eric Clapton confirms Irish shows
He plays here next May...
That most legendary of guitarslingers –many still consider him to be God – Eric Clapton returns to Ireland next May for Dublin O2 (9) and Belfast Odyssey (10) shows, tickets for which are priced between €51/€81 and £38/£60 respectively and go on sale on Wednesday, October 31.
He’ll be celebrating his 50th anniversary in the rock ‘n’ roll business with a hit-laden set that you can be pretty sure will include ‘I Shot The Sheriff’, ‘Lay Down Sally’, ‘Wonderful Tonight’, ‘Cocaine’ and the slowed-down version of ‘Layla’ Clapton’s taken to playing.
