Emmylou Harris adds Dublin date

Country songstress Emmylou Harris will play the National Stadium, Dublin in September.

Twelve-time Grammy winner Emmylou Harris pays a visit to our shores this autumn with a show at the National Stadium, Dublin.

The September 12 show will see the singer showcase her new album All I Intended To Be, which is out here early next month, and features vocals from Dolly Parton, Vince Gill, and (Rufus and Martha's mammy) Kate McGarrigle, who co-wrote two tracks with her sister Anna.

Though he was not present at the actual recording, the sonic spirit of Daniel Lanois hovers over this album. The follow-up to the ground-breaking Wrecking Ball incorporates both elements and players from its predecessor.
