Electric Picnic tops Irish Festival Awards

The results of the first ever Irish Festival Awards are in, and Electric Picnic was among the winners, scooping the top prize for Best Large Festival.

The outcome of the inaugural Irish Festival Awards has just been announced, and very interesting reading it makes too!
Over 4,000 people took part in the online survey, which was coordinated by the people behind Charleville’s Castlepalooza weekender, CherryCool Promotions.
“We got votes from Ireland, North and South, the UK, mainland Europe and from the States, so it’s a good, broad cross-selection of opinions,” CherryCool’s Cillian Stewart tells Hotpress.com
