Electric Picnic sells out
All 30,000 tickets for the Electric Picnic in Laois have officially been snapped up.
Taking place on 1, 2 and 3 September, the festival's leftfield line-up includes Basement Jaxx, Massive Attack, New Order, Pet Shop Boys, Groove Armada, PJ Harvey, Antony and the Johnsons, Gnarls Barkley, Skatalites, Broken Social Scene, DJ Shadow, Damien Rice, Amadou and Mariam, Richard Hawley, Yeah Yeah Yeahs, The Frames and plenty more besides.
Promoter of Electric Picnic, John Reynolds of Pod Concerts commented "To sell out two months before the festival is an indication of the increasing popularity of the Picnic. We will not be releasing any more tickets, so if you haven't already bought your tickets, there's always next year".
