There’s good news for people who don’t do flysheets and guy-lines with the Electric Picnic unveiling a range of luxury camping options.
Pampered patrons can choose between a Pod Pad (€520), Tipi (€650 upwards), Beach Hut (€714), Bohemian Bivouac (€1300), or Bus Bed (TBC).
The various packages include “24 hour on-site reception, aprés fest chill out zone, the finest toilet and shower facilities ever to grace a field and a scrumptious morning brunch with freshly roasted coffee.”
Sadly, the guarantees stop short of no rain, mud or communal olé, olé, olé-ing.
As for the musical attractions, the first batch of Picnic acts will be announced towards the end of March.
