Eleanor McEvoy has announced details of her Out There album, which hits the rack on September 8.
Tracks include ‘To Sweep Away A Fool’, ‘Wrong So Wrong’, ‘Little Look’, ‘Three Nights In November’, ‘Quote I Love You Unquote’, ‘So Much Trouble’, ‘Viegland’s Dream’, ‘Suffer So Well’, ‘The Way You Wear Your Troubles’, ‘(When You) Smile’, ‘Fields Of Dublin 4’, ‘Interlude – Iberius’, ‘Roll ‘Em Easy’, ‘Mercy Mercy Me’ and lead single ‘Non Smoking Single Female’, which precedes the collection on August 25.
In case you’re wondering, ‘Mercy Mercy Me’ is indeed a cover of the Marvin Gaye classic and finds McEvoy in top vocal form.
Also due on September 8 is the self-titled debut by Dublin rockers Boss Volenti. A short sharp shock of an album, it features ‘Ain’t No Use’, ‘Opposite Directions’, ‘Nine Point Eight’, ‘Deeper Than Deep’, ‘The Gun’, ‘The Range’, ‘L.I.B.’, ‘Shot’, ‘Roll It Into Shape’ and ‘Can’t Seem To Find The Way’.
