Editors announce Irish dates

Editors – N.B. there’s no “the”! - will drum up trade for their The Back Room album with a series of Irish dates this September.

They will be paying visits to Cyprus Avenue, Cork (September 6); Dolan’s, Limerick (7); Whelan’s, Dublin (8); Nerve Centre, Derry (9); and Limelight, Belfast (10).

One of about eight-hundred-and-ninety-five bands that are currently being touted as “the new Coldplay”, the quartet actually have a deliciously melancholy sound all of their own and should be coming to a top 5 near you very soon.
