A very special run of shows around Ireland
A host of interesting evenings from the Duke, kicking off tomorrow in Derry. The Belfast star will be bringing a host of fine artists as 'Duke Special & Friends Sing The Songs Of Harry Nilsson' travels around Ireland. If you haven't been acquainted with Mr. Nilsson's music just yet – though you've probably heard of him as a close friend of The Beatles – these gigs present the perfect opportunity to dive right into the late singer-songwriter's witty, poignant and always astoundingly melodic back catalogue. Duke Special is a dab hand at offering up something different live and there should be plenty of surprises every night.
Here are the details of where you'll find him play:
Saturday October 12 – Millennium Forum, Derry
Sunday October 13 – Empire Music Hall, Belfast
Monday October 14 – Roisin Dubh, Galway
Tuesday October 15 – The Sugar Club, Dublin
Friday October 18 – Cyprus Avenue, Cork
Saturday October 19 – Kavanaghs, Portlaoise
Sunday October 20 – Number 1, Mullingar
