Duckworth Lewis Method announce split at the Hot Press Chatroom

Much to the disappointment of the HP Chatroom crowd, the Duckworth Lewis boys broke the news that last night's Electric Picnic gig was their last.

The Hot Press Newsdesk, 04 Sep 2009

Among hilarious musings on songwriting and the idea of making an album based on the beautiful game (Neil reckons footy's "too tribal") Hannon and Walsh revealed to Olaf Tyaransen that they're calling it a day as the Duckworth Lewis Method and Neil's moustache is coming off today!

Earlier in the day Richmond Fontaine explained the source of their rather unusual moniker, Zero seven turned the tables on the crowd by heckling a few of the Chatroom punters and Seasick Steve had a charmed audience in stitches, not least when he refused the Chatroom's second marriage proposal of the day!

Wowing the Hot Press Chatroom crowds today will be Bill Bragg (3.30pm), the Walkmen (4pm), Mundy (4.30pm), the XX (5.15pm) and Tommy Tiernan (6pm).

We'll be bringing you all the Chatroom gossip as it happens, so keep your eyes peeled on Hotpress.com!
