Dolores O'Riordan wins European music award
Dolores O'Riordan's debut solo record Are You Listening? has won a European Breaking Border Award, presented by the European Commission.
Dolores won the prestigious European Breaking Borders Award for her debut solo album, Are you Listening?.
The European Commission initiative aim to celebrate the creative richness and diversity of European contemporary music.
The awards are presented to 10 musical groups and artists in recognition of their success in touring and selling records outside their own country. Dolores received the award among such international company as The Fratellis, Cascada, and Basshunter, along with groups from Finland, Denmark, France, Spain, Belgium and Poland.
The ceremony will take place during a show in Cannes on January 27.
