Disappointment for Duckworth Lewis Method
Band just miss out on Ivor Novello Award.
Congratulations to Paulo Nutini whose Sunny Side Up record has just beaten Duckworth Lewis Method to the Ivor Novello Album Award.
The duo's cricket inspired self-titled record was also up against Dizziee Rascal's Tongue N' Cheek.
Speaking via their Twitter feed the guys (Neil Hannon & Thomas Walsh) said: We haven't won an Ivor but we're honoured to have been nominated! Congratulations to Paolo Nutini"

Other winners at the 2010 Ivor Novello's include Bat for Lashes (Daniel) which won Best Contemporary Song; Lily Allen (The Fear) in the Best Song Musically and Lyrically category and Paul Weller who picked up a Lifetime Achievement award.
