Director land Reading and Leeds slots
Malahide band Director are to play the Carling Reading and Leeds Weekend.
The quartet - who have played UK support slots with Hard-Fi and The Goo Goo Dolls - are to play in Reading at 3.00 pm on Saturday, 25th August, and at 2.55 pm in Leeds the following day. The sets will take place on the Carling Stage on both occasions, and they figure in a line-up that includes Razorlight, Arcade Fire, The Smashing Pumpkins and Ash.
The sets continue what has been a great year for the Dubliners, after going platinum in Ireland, scooping the 2007 Meteor Award for Best New Irish Act and receiving a Choice Music Award Nomination for debut album We Thrive On Big Cities.
