Dervish release first studio album in five years
The Thrush In The Storm is out now...
Legendary Irish trad group Dervish have released their first studio album in five years entitled The Thrush In The Storm.
The band have just completed a sell-out US tour to celebrate the album, and had it's launch at a special Boston event in association with the WGBH Public Broadcasting organisation in America. You can check out some of the footage from that night below.
Dervish will kick off their Irish and UK tour on May 22 in Staffordshire, with shows planned for Cavan, Antrim and Derry throughout the summer. Full details available on [link]dervish.ie[/link]
Their music has been much in demand of late, with their work featuring in the new eight week ITV series James Nesbit’s Ireland and in the forthcoming Irish movie Calvary starring Brendan Gleeson, Chris O Dowd and Kelly Reilly.
