Dervish and friends - live pub session to be streamed
Fans will be able to watch the Sligo session, and interact with both the band and other online viewers
On October 8 at 11pm, trad band Dervish (plus guests) will perform live in Sligo - the band's home town - for a session which will be streamed on the web.
The band, who have been on the go since 1989, will charge a nominal fee of €4.99 per viewer, to cover costs of broadcasting the session (camera, sound operators, equipment rental, event promotion etc). Partakers will be able to send messages or requests directly to the band, and talk to other online viewers during the web session.
