Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip coming to Ireland

Hotly-tipped producer/vocalist duo Dan Le Sac vs. Scroobius Pip will be playing Dublin in January.

The twosome will be in Crawdaddy on January 18.

Having made a big impression thus far with singles 'Thou Shalt Always Kill' and 'Beat That My Heart Skipped', the boys are now gearing up for the release of their debut album early next year.

Tickets are €15 from usual outlets, on sale now.

The line-up for August's Belsonic festival in Belfast is hotting up with some new additions to the bill, including Mystery Jets, Dan Le Sac Vs. Scroobius Pip and Delorentos.

If there was a worry that ‘Thou Shalt Always Kill’ was a glorious flash in the pan, then ‘The Beat That My Heart Skipped’ is equally glorious proof that the London duo might just be the real deal. Less consciously preachy than their debut, it adds a welcome personal angle to their sound before moving up a gear for the rant-filled, closing moments. With as much in common with US underground rappers such as Sage Francis and Atmosphere as the stuttering UK scene, this odd pairing could well be the surprise find of the year.
