Damien Dempsey returns to Cork for a St Patricks Day gig
The Dublin singer-songwriter will play The Pavillion on March 17
Dempsey, who is currently working on his sixth studio album, will make a St Patrick's Day appearance in Cork next Wednesday.
The singer toured extensively last year, returning to Ireland to support U2 no less, when they appeared at Dublin's Croke Park. His last album The Rocky Road, was a collaboration with The Dubliners and featured Dempsey's take on many much loved Irish folk songs, including 'The Rocky Road to Dublin,' ''Kelly from Killan' and 'The Hot Asphalt'.
Wednesday's gig is an early evening show, with doors at 6pm
