Choice Music Prize shortlist announced
The names in the running for Album Of The Year 2012 have just been released.
The list of nominees has been unveiled for this year’s Choice Music Prize, which will be doled out on March 7 in Vicar St., Dublin and also broadcast live on Today FM’s Paul McLoone Show.
Hoping to go home €10,000 better off will be:

Two Door Cinema Club – Beacon (Kitsuné)
Windings – I Am Not The Crow(Out On A Limb)
“The Shortlist demonstrates the breadth and depth of talent in Ireland that is producing fantastic music,” enthuses Lisa Comerford, Meteor’s Head of Brand and Communications. “We’re really passionate about supporting great music and can’t wait to announce this year’s winner at the Choice Music Prize Live Event.”

Tickets for the event are €22.50 and go on sale on Friday January 11.
