Chili Peppers to release Slane DVD
Their Live At Slane 2003 DVD will make sound stocking filler when it hits shelves next month

Anything U2 can do… Not wanting Bono & Co. to steal all the Slane glory, Red Hot Chili Peppers are making their headlining trip to Lord Henry's gaff available in DVD form on November 17.
Filmed in front of 80,000 adoring Irish fans, Live At Slane 2003 features 'By The Way', 'Scar Tissue', 'Around The World', 'Universally Speaking', 'Parallel Universe', 'Zephyr Song', 'Throw Away Your Television', 'Havana Affair', 'Otherside', 'Purple Stain', 'Don't Forget Me', 'Right On Time', 'Can't Stop', 'Venice Queen', 'Give It Away', 'Californication', 'Under The Bridge' and 'Power Of Equality'.
The same day also finds the band releasing a 14-track Greatest Hits CD and DVD which also features 15 promo videos.

Early fans will be disappointed to learn that in telling the story of Ms California, “a runner, rebel and a stunner”, they’re continuing down the middle of the road that they seem to like so much, leaving their days of edgy funk rock well behind. So much so that poor guitarist John Frusciante is left doing a cover version of ‘Sweet Home Alabama’ in the background while the rest of the band plod along behind Anthony Kiedis’s isolated enthusiasm. A new low for them? Quite possibly.
