Chili Peppers Phoenix Park line-up announced

Here it is kids: the stage times for the biggest park party since Robbie!

MCD have announced the stage times for the Red Hot Chili Peppers' Phoenix Park extravaganza which takes place on June 12 and will, if it sell outs, be the biggest concert ever staged in Ireland.

The live action stacks up as follows:

14.00 Gates

15.30 Groove Armada

17.00 The Thrills

18.30 The Pixies

20.15 Red Hot Chili Peppers

It'll be interesting to see who goes down best on the day – the headliners or the Pixies who according to the man from Reuters "eclipsed Radiohead on May 2 at California's Coachella festival, sounding more forceful than they did a dozen years ago."

Talking after their set, Frank Black revealed how they've been psyching themselves up for their shows: "Every night we watch Harry Potter. That's Kim's choice, that's our evening little ritual, we all climb into our little bunks together and watch Harry Potter."
