Bruce still at top of Irish chart!
The Boss occupies both the No. 1 and 2 slots this week...
Bruce Springsteen proves he's still got it by dominating the Irish album chart once again this week.
The Boss, who played two fantastic shows last week in Dublin's R.D.S. (see full report in the current issue of Hot Press), released latest album Wrecking Ball earlier this year - it's this week's No. 2, while his Greatest Hits is top of the pops.
Last issue's cover star meanwhile is this week's No. 3... Plan B released the excellent, gritty Ill Manors this month, a hard-hitting film with accompanying soundtrack. It highlights the plight of the most disadvantaged areas of Britain, and is a far cry from the rapper's last release, the soulful Defamation Of Strickland Banks.
Soul singer Adele is at No. 4 this week with her sophomore album 21, while Ed Sheeran's + is a non-mover at No. 5.
Following her Aviva show on Tuesday, Madonna's latest offering M.D.N.A. is a new entry at No. 22, while Amy Winehouse's excellent Back To Black re-enters the chart at No. 39.
