Plus, a video of his cover of Suicide's 'Dream Baby Dream'.
The Boss' Wrecking Ball tour now wrapped, in typical "man of the people" fashion, Bruce has issued a heartfelt letter thanking all the fans – the hardened and first-timers alike – who came to the shows. That includes those Limerick, Cork, Belfast and Kilkenny gigs that turned recent months into the 'Summer Of E Street' in Ireland.
A grab of the note is above, but here's the complete text:
"As our Wrecking Ball tour comes to it’s lose, the E Street Band and I want to thank our friends and fans for the love and support we’ve received over the past year and a half.
To all the tramps and travelers who exposed themselves night after night to the long flights, the long drives, the long queuing, the rain, the sleeplessness in order to inspire and fuel us from band center, we appreciate it. To the very “creative” request sign makers, to the families who showed up all generations represented, to our young fans, the newest members of our E Street clan who brought their life, vitality, fresh energy and who immersed themselves in 40 years of music, we thank and welcome you.
"You’re our future. To our long time fans, whose passion and commitment have sustained us for so many years, you’ve once again filled this time with a continuity and deep feeling we’ll remember and carry with use. To those of you who’ve joined us onstage dancing, singing, playing the guitar (and washboard!), thanks for the momentarily being honorary members in what I still think is the greatest band in the land. You brought us some smiles and handled yourselves with grace and good humor. Finally, to all of you who were there along the way, we send out our mightiest and most heartfelt thanks. You have reignited in us a great passion for what we do. We’ll do our best to honor it.

So, until we meet again, stay hard… and we’ll see you up the road. Best, Bruce Springsteen"
He's also decided to serenade us, turning Suicide's 'Dream Baby Dream' into a hypnotic lullaby once more. Watch below:
