Bonnie 'Prince' Billy confirms Whelan's date
Ireland’s alt. country brigade will be out in force on April 18 when Bonnie ‘Prince’ Billy, aka Will Oldham, plays Whelan’s.
Harem Scarem, a Scottish trad/folk group who boast four female vocalists, and a penchant for unusual arrangements, provide the support.
Oldham’s love of the genre stems from holidaying in Perthshire as a teenager, and being seduced by sounds of Silly Wizzard and The Corries.
