The rockers, who played Slane back in June, topped the list for the third time in their career.
The annual Billboard Top 25 Tours of 2013 has been revealed and New Jersey rockers Bon Jovi once again proved that they are still a major draw on the live circuit claiming the No 1 spot. The band played over two million fans across 90 shows in 2013 on their ‘Because We Can’ tour, grossing more than $205m (£125m) in the process.
Rounding out the top three were Cirque Du Soleil with their ‘Michael Jackson The Immortal World Tour’ which was second on the list grossing $157m (£96m), and Pink who managed $147m (£90m).Other notable inclusions on the list were the Rolling Stones, who were the highest grossing British band having taken in $126m (£75m) from only 23 shows.
