Bon Iver to feature on new Colin Stetson album
Bon Iver fans (ourselves included) can dry their eyes. It's not exactly a comeback from Bon Iver, but it will do for now.
Bon Iver's Justin Vernon will contribute vocals for the saxophonist's new album due out sometime this spring.
Bass-saxophone extraordinaire Colin Stetson, who's worked with LCD Soundsystem, Tv On The Radio and Arcade Fire, to name a few, will release the third installment in his sonically challenging series of LPs New History Warfare Vol. 3.
According to reports the albums will feature 11 pieces all running in and around the ten-minute mark, with Justin Vernon lending vocals on at least four tracks.
Stetson last played Ireland in November. His show at the Twisted Pepper for their birthday weekend proving to be one of the gigs of the winter.
