The singer releases her new DVD as religious figures in Egypt protest her gig in Port Ghalib.
Ahead of her tour dates in Dublin's O2 on November 22 and 23, Beyoncé has announced the release of a live concert DVD and CD package, titled I Am... Yours: An Intimate Performance At Wynn Las Vegas. The footage was filmed on August 2 during her four-night sold out residency in Nevada.
According to its press release, the disc will contain "biographical storytelling, behind-the-scenes footage, performances of over 30 songs from all three solo albums, as well as some Destiny's Child material. A CD of the concert will be included". It will be released on December 4 in Ireland and December 7 in the UK.
While Beyoncé's DVD is highly anticipated in Ireland and the UK, the singer was not so welcome in Egypt, where she unveiled her "I Am..." world tour on November 6 to heavy protest. Muslim leaders were furious at the idea of the gig at the luxury Red Sea resort of Port Ghalib, which they believe is little more than an "insolent sex party".
"The government is trying to make people indulge in sin and licentiousness to cover up the other crimes it is committing against them", said a member of the Muslim Brotherhood. "You are accused of disturbing social peace and stability, encouraging vice and debauchery."

The protest has reached the internet as well. A Facebook campaign against the show in Port Ghalib collected almost 10,000 supporters. Also, religious website Jesus-is-saviour.com claims that "Beyoncé is NO Christian. She is satanic, serving the Devil".
The singer has remained silent, having already been forced to pull a gig in Malaysia last month after a local protest.
