Beyonce confirms Dublin date
Fresh from winning three gongs at the MOBO Awards in London, Beyoncé has confirmed a June 6 visit to the Dublin Point.
Tickets priced €65 and €70.50 go on sale at 9am on Friday September 29.
Fans can expect an aural and visual extravaganza, with ‘Crazy In Love’, ‘Baby Boy’, ‘Check On It’ and ‘Summertime’ just a few of the monster hits that’ll be getting an airing.
On a rather more downbeat note, Knowles has caused outrage in the States by telling Blender magazine that, “I make black records. I write records like I speak, and I don’t try to change my songs so everyone else likes them.”
A personally reasonable thing to say we’d have thought but, no, the remarks have lead to accusations of racism and a 70% drop in sales for her B-Day album.
