This is a sentence we never expected to write – September 13 finds Rafa Benitez headlining Dublin’s Bord Gáis Energy Theatre.
No, the former Liverpool manager hasn’t suddenly gone tortured singer-songwriter. He’ll be giving a public interview in support of the charitable Montse Benitez Foundation, which he set up last year with his wife. Tickets priced €20 go on sale on Friday August 3.
After moving post-Anfield to Inter Milan, he’s currently looking for a new club and being linked to just about every major managerial position going.
