Dublin prog-rockers Bats have just released their new EP.
Much lauded Dubliners Bats open their account with Cruel Sea Scientist, a beautifully packaged five-tracker featuring ‘Death To Kent Hovind’, ‘These Ones Lay Eggs’, ‘Nautilus vs. Irish Ferry’, ‘Husband & Wife (Sliced Lung, Served Cold)’ and ‘Atom & Eve’.
It’s the fifth release from Dublin independent Armed Ambitions whose roster also includes Adebisi Shank, Herv, Vimanas and Terrodactyl.
Their latest EP is available from indie-minded recorded shops and online at richtercollective.com.
Catch Bats live at Tower Records (February 9), and Whelan's (February 15 with Chrome Hoof, March 15 with Hooray For Humans).
