The latest instalment of Jameson Bow Street Sessions will see Barq team up with urban-electronic musician Soulé and brass supergroup, Booka Brass.
Reflecting on the unique combination of talent heading to The Sugar Club on January 26 - two soul artists and a brass band are a little bit different to your average four-piece rock band - Jess talks about how this reflects the diversity of the Irish music scene.
"I'm really excited for this show," says Jess. "I think it's a really strong indication of what's emerging from music in Ireland. You look all around you and you have urban, soul, hip-hop and rock. Then you have Booka Brass who sound like they've come straight out of New Orleans."
This promises to be a special evening in the Irish capital, Jess promising some surprises and a lot of energy from three of the country's most exciting talents. Expect a warm welcome and a thrilling bill of music accompanied by a Jameson, Ginger and Lime… but apart from that, expect the unexpected!
