Green Lights, More Tiny Giants and Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters all announced for the free Green and Live session in June.
The monthly Green and Live Sessions sponsored by Limerick Live 95 fm continue to bring quality Irish talent to Dolan’s Warehouse. On Thursday June 26 the line-up features Green Lights, More Tiny Giants and Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters. Doors open at 8pm and admission is free.
Dublin-based Green Lights, formed in 2006, have a sound that starts with a left-handed guitar that’s always too loud. Add vocals that range from heartfelt moan to piercing falsetto and throw in some tactless synths and button-bashing, home-programmed loops and a floppy-haired drummer doing his damnedest to hold the whole thing together and you will start to get the picture.
Dublin four-piece More Tiny Giants will also bring their incendiary country stompy punk to Dolan’s, mixing all that’s great about The Pixies, dEUS and Dawn of the Replicants, More Tiny Giants prove they can stand tall with the best of them. Their recent ‘Wolves at the Door’ EP is one of the finest releases of the year so far.
Completing the line-up for what could be the best Green and Live gig to date is Limerick band Fox Jaw Bounty Hunters. The local three-piece play straight up, head-bopping rock and roll that bring their pure bred, energy driven music with no nonsense. These guys blend and create songs influenced from punk to blues, chunky riffs to sublime silence while retaining that solid essence that drives any mind to simply implode yet love it.
