Charity single continues to capture the hearts and minds of the record-buying public...
The debate still rages over just how appropriate and effective 'Do They Know It's Christmas?' is in 2014 but as it sits pretty atop the Irish Singles Chart for a second week in a row, it would appear that the majority are in favour.
The Bob Geldof-led, Bono, Chris Martin, Ellie Goulding and loads more-featuring charity effort held off stiff competition from Ed Sheeran's 'Thinking Out Loud', which stays in second place as it continues to emerge as a ludicrously popular wedding anthem. Meanwhile, there's no change at spots #3 and #4 as One Direction's 'Steal My Girl' - so catchy even the moodier types in the HP office are fans - and Meghan Trainor's less-loved-by-Team HP 'All About That Bass' hold court. The Calvin Harris/Ellie Goulding team-up 'Outside' completes the top five.
Jessie J, David Guetta, Take That, Taylor Swift and Olly Murs round out this week's top 10.
