The band have also announced a performance at The Bowery to celebrate the release of their new single.
The high energy four-piece, led by singer Jess Kav, who graced the cover of our Repeal the 8th issue back in September, are known for their live performances which shove groove into the belly of the rock-beast, creating their own version of 'agro-soul'.
'Bear' deals with issues of loss and growing-up and is inspired by the loss of Jess’ mother, Liz Kavanagh. The lyrics are adapted from a poem of the dreams Jess had over this tumultuous time.
A brand new music video will be released over the November period. Images from the lyrics were drawn by artist James Sheridan and directed by the wonder-duo Crooked Gentlemen.
