Ash and Franz Ferdinand added to Oxegen

In news just in, Ash and Franz Ferdinand have been confirmed for Oxegen.

Firm favourites on the festival circuit, Ash will be treating fans to the brand-spanking collection of songs from their Meltdown album. The addition of Scottish rockers will also come as great news to the legion of Irish fans that caught the Franz fever a little too late for their sold-out Ambassador gig next week.

The Oxegen line-up to date includes David Bowie, the Darkness, N.E.R.D., Pink, Kings of Leon, Massive Attack, Chemical Brothers, PJ Harvey, Wu Tang Clan and Keane. More artists are expected to be announced in the coming days. Tickets are on sale now.
