Amy Winehouse announces new show
Certain male members of the Hot Press crew are jolly excited that the drug necking, beer swilling, tattoo displaying Amy Winehouse is playing a Dublin Ambassador headliner.
Tickets for the gig on March 2 are €35.20 and are on sale now.
Commended by Duke Special in the Xmas issue of Hot Press for having “a doo-wop Smokey Robinson thing going on”, Ms. Winehouse’s current Back To Black album is everything that Rachel Stevens, Girls Aloud, Pussycat Dolls etc. aren’t – smart, sassy, deeply personal and oozing soul.
Also confirming an Ambassador visit on December 21 is hip hop legend Mobb Depp who’ll be bass binning out such gems as ‘Shook Ones Pt. 2’, ‘Survival Of The Fittest’, ‘Hell On Earth’, ‘Quiet Storm’ and ‘Twisted’.
