Alternative Ulster
New Belfast community station North Visions Radio is set to give Northern music lovers, among other things, "pretentious indie songs with no tune that go on for ten minutes, over and over again". This, surely, can only be a good thing
There's some quality music to be had on North Visions Radio, Belfast's new community station which can be heard citywide on 100.6 FM.
Hot Press is particularly fond of Niall Harden's The Alternative – "Pretentious indie songs with no tune that go on for 10 minutes. Over and over again" – which airs at 11am on Saturdays.
There's even more choice fare on Sundays with Terri Hooley's Rocking 'N' Rolling With The Master Blaster (12 noon); Geoff Harden's Roundabout Rigs; and Jonny Tiernan & Cathy Wright's Alternative Ulster.
