Alesso tipped for superstardom at Web Summit
Analysis suggests Swede is sure-fire success
Bill James, the man responsible for Moneyball, spoke to the Web Summit earlier in the week about bringing data analysis into sport. Today, the co-founder of Next Big Sound discussed how it can be applied to the music industry.
Next Big Sound uses social media data, streaming figures, radio play, advertising licenses and even Wikipedia page views to analyse and track patterns within music, and Alex White was willing to put his neck on the line.
According to White, Swedish producer Alesso is the artist best positioned for chart success in the next six months. He should have an album out soon, so watch this space!
